The mountain railways on Chäserrugg are launching the Pricenow webshop for skitickets as well as season tickets this winter season 2020/21. The new module for season tickets for passionate winter sports enthusiasts impresses with its modern design and customer-oriented sales process.

The 2’262-metre-high Chäserrugg is a popular destination for natural winter experiences, refined local gastronomy and outstanding architecture. ith slopes and winter hiking trails full of variety and views, the Toggenburg Bergbahnen delights pleasure-seekers and sports enthusiasts alike. In order to offer their guests a customer-oriented and efficient solution for purchasing railway tickets, the Toggenburg Bergbahnen have opted for the Pricenow-Webshop.

Guests of the Toggenburg Bergbahnen can purchase ski tickets as well as season passes via the webshop. The season pass module of the Pricenow webshop allows winter sports enthusiasts of the Chäserruggs to book their entire winter season quickly and easily online. In doing so, the guest can choose between different season passes and simultaneously book several season passes for different people in a single purchase process. In addition, the clever shopping basket function allows the selected products to be edited at any time.

«In the webshop, we are impressed by the fact that it was possible to integrate SwissPass, the E-Guma voucher system and our CRM. It offers us further possibilities for the future in the area of pricing and data analysis,» explains Alex Singenberger, Marketing and Sales, Toggenburg Bregbahnen.

With the connection of the Axess interface, the webshop is integrated into the access control system of Toggenburg Bergbahnen. Winter sports enthusiasts can buy their ski tickets online in the webshop and, thanks to the existing interface integrations, load them directly onto their SwissPass or an Axess card – and not only the railway tickets can be loaded onto the cards, but also the season passes of the ski area. With E-GUMA, an important voucher system of the mountain railway industry is integrated and guests can easily redeem their vouchers in the webshop. The valuable customer data generated in the web shop is imported directly and fully automatically into the CRM system of Toggenburg Bergbahnen.

In the next step, the webshop will be expanded with further products from Toggenburg Bergbahnen – in the process, autonomous processing of the products by the management of the mountain railway will always be taken into account. This allows Toggenburg Bergbahnen maximum flexibility to optimally offer its products and services online.
